About Tyrone Mapp

Direct, with a passion for the Tech sector and over 20 Years of experience starting at the coal face of IT support right through to building up Enterprise Project Management Offices in billion dollar corporations.

What I do is help businesses achieve consistency and control in their IT Systems and Projects which results in superior business results.

From simple IT setups to full Digital Transformation initiatives, I help you create consistent processes and procedures and then we put those processes and procedures into a technology solution that suits your business and helps you achieve your business goals.

I call this a Pattern of Business and while there are many different types of businesses, quite often the pattern of business (how a high performing business runs) is not too dissimilar from the next. This means that as a technology delivery company, we can provide patterns of technology that help ensure businesses run efficiently and securely.

Three Key Behaviours of Successful Businesses

Discipline = Freedom

Have the discipline to do what needs to be done, when it needs to be done. Set routines, stick to them. Adhere to your business processes. Don’t cut corners. While it is very tempting to skip the design phase of something and just start building, you will regret it later on….

Create Systems, Follow them, Exhibit Control

Both Projects and Businesses benefit substantially from systems. Things like, how do I start a project, what do I do in the middle, who do I provide reports to, what do they look like, how do I finish a project. Can I keep track of my company’s Projects and do I know what to do when things go off track?

Consistency is Key

In Project delivery, how you deliver and how you report must be consistent and thoughtful in order to garner support and continued access to funding to deliver on the company strategy. Consistency in your Project processes will create a sense of calm for your clients knowing they can trust you will deliver what you said you would.

Who we work with:

We won’t work with just anyone, you’ll need to have real pain, you’ll need to want to do something about it now, and you will need the budget to do it. If you’re not there yet, thats fine, not everyone is. But if you are then get in touch for a 15 minute conversation to find out whether you really need us or if you just need to tighten up your game.

Ready to Revolutionise your Business Technology?

When you don’t have enough time to improve, here are Three activities that have massively boosted our clients productivity:

Business owners and senior managers tend to be extremely busy. Being that busy often leads to forgotten tasks, missed deadlines and unhappy customers. Worst of all, it often leads to Burnout.

When helping our customers move from chaos to control, we often first have to help them get better control over their workload so they can create the space to be better. To do that, we have a simple three point structure that can hugely help.

  1. Mindmap your tasks

Task lists are great, mind maps are greater! By mind mapping out your activities you can segregate what needs to be done by task area, you will have room to add more tasks as needed and you will be able to visualise your work. You can even be a bit creative and draw pictures on it if it helps you do more!

  2. Plan your days

Take 10 minutes at the start of your day, when you first get into whatever your office is, coffee in hand and go through every meeting you have today, prepare what you are going to say and decide on what outcomes you want. Evaluate if you should even be in the meeting itself. Then go through what you must deliver today, what do you HAVE to achieve in order to move the boat forward. Then prioritise your day accordingly and remove everything else.

  3. Evaluate your week and replan.

At the end of every week, look back over your week, cross off what you have done, decide what you did well, what you could do better and what you need to do that better. Then re-draw your mindmap ready for the next week. Then on Monday you will start fresh and have a plan with what you need to tackle up front. (And best of all you are not then forgetting things over the weekend).
