The powerful features in ProjectPlace enable you to schedule meetings inside a Project Calendar that all your team can access if required. You can schedule standalone or recurring meetings and add participants as groups (think stakeholders, technical team etc that you have setup in your Project Workspace setup) as well as straight email addresses of people to invite.
Once a meeting is created, the participants will receive a meeting invite email the same as if you had sent it through from your meeting calendar. So this way all participants are aware of the meeting and any changes that happen.
You can view the status of your project meetings in a calendar view that can be viewed by Day, Week or Month, giving you flexible options when setting up and managing Project meetings.
Planview ProjectPlace gives you granular control over the Project Workspace permissions by allowing you to assign both users and groups to Project Workspaces and then also granularly apply permissions to the various components of the Workspace. This enables you to assign Users and Groups to workspaces and then define what the can and cannot see or edit within that workspace.
How granular you set your permissions is entirely up to you.
Every Project Workspace enables you to create and manage users and groups so that you have full control over who has access to what within your project workspace.
Groups can also be created in the Project Template and standardised permissions set there. This means all projects can have consistent group names and group permissions from the start.
Teams is a fantastic feature within Planview where you can mimic your organisation team structure. Team names and members are up to you and once a team is created you will be able to not only enable collaboration through chat features but also see the team’s current and future workload if you are utilising the resource management tools in ProjectPlace.
